Eric and Taylor Mortensen

Eric (Tenor) and Taylor (Soprano) Mortensen met in 2015 and immediately shared a love of music and performance.  Not long after that, they started their band, The Alibis, and covered some of their favorite music from the 90’s and 2000’s eras. Their mutual passion for music blossomed and they expanded to the stage; having performed in a number of musicals at Rabbit Run Theater and Chagrin Valley Little Theater. Taylor, Eric, and many of their friends now perform music cabarets regularly around Northeast Ohio.

Eric was born and raised in Albany, NY but relocated to Cleveland in 2014. He grew up singing with his family at church functions and gradually developed his love of music, picking up the guitar at age 10. Eric started doing theater in high school and continued through college. He is a regular performer at Rabbit Run, most recently playing “Billy Crocker” in Anything Goes.  You may also recognize him from A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder or Titanic the Musical.
